Tallard aerodrome

The Hautes-Alpes aerodrome is situated south of Gap in the municipality of Tallard, a couple of hundred meters from the exit of the motorway A51, where it is protected from prevailing winds. Here industrial and tourist activities are combined all year round. As is shown with the new training centre Polyaéro Tallard, a business park with an incredible energy, the first European aerial leisure centre of its sort.

Both experts and curious people can do a range of aerial activities: skydiving, paragliding, ultra light aviation, gliding, plane, helicopter, hot air balloon or autogyro. Many teams and international champions come and train here and competitions take place regularly.

The Hautes-Alpes have 4 aerodromes : Tallard, Saint-Crépin, Le Chevalet in Aspres-sur-Buëch and la Bâtie-Montsaléon ; a department with broad recognition in aeronautics because of its outstanding natural beauty, great atmospheric sounding and weather with more than 300 days of sunshine every year.
