GITE RANDO (HIKERS)The accommodation is situated near one or more marked hiking trails (PR, GR). The owner provides topographical maps (IGN) and guidebooks. Ancelle, at an altitude of 1350 m, has 14 lifts and 15 pistes with a total of 26 km. Due to its exceptional location, Ancelle has several Nordic activities to offer. It has 4 circuits of 3,5 to 10 km. Dominating the wooded mountain meadows, unique in Europe, St-Michel-de-Chaillol is a mountain village and ski resort with plentiful sun and snow. The ski area is situated on two slopes and goes up to 2000 m altitude. It has 10 ski-lifts, 11 pistes and 31 km of cross-country skiing tracks. Snuggled at the foot of Pic de Gleize and de l'Aiguille, the smallest of the Champsaur resorts is not to be outdone. It is a very friendly and cosy little village at 1300 m altitude and has 7,5 km downhill ski slopes, 10 pistes and 6 button tows.
