Skiing area :
Queyras village resort
In the heart of a regional Park, with
Mont Viso (3841 m) and
Italy to the East,
the Queyras is a deep valley with side branches. There are five ski villages :
Abriès,
Arvieux,
Ceillac,
Saint-Véran et
Molines, with its imposing character, together form four ski areas with different types of ambiance.
Set in a hundred-year-old larch forest, the fifteen kilometres of ski runs in
Izoard ski area. (Arvieux : 1 650 - 2 200 m / 40 hectares of ski runs) benefit from an exceptional snow coverage and a magnificent view on the Pic du Grand Rochebrune. A perfect family skiing area, as is
Haut-Guil (Abriès : 70 hectares of ski runs ).
The Christillan ski area
(Ceillac : 1 680 - 2500 m / 112 acres of ski runs), recently renovated, is
ideal for experienced skiers with its slopes at an altitude of 1 650 m to 2 450
m. Lastly, the Beauregard ski area (Molines-Saint Véran : 250 acres of ski
runs) is the largest ski area in the Queyras. Here, forests and large empty
spaces are alternated and beauty and silence reign supreme.
