Detached house which enjoys an exceptional location in a quiet area near the city center of Embrun
An ancient archiepiscopal city, built on a pudding rock which dominates the Durance, Embrun has become a welcoming resort town, with a remarkable architectural heritage: “La Maison des Gouverneurs” has a magnificent Renaissance door, “La Manutention” a former barracks built in 17th century following Vauban's plans, the "Chapels of the Couvent des Cordeliers" with ribbed vaults and decorated with remarkable frescoes, without forgetting the Embrun cathedral... this region of Lake Serre-Ponçon is also a lovers' paradise of all water sports, on the turquoise waves of the Durance and its waterways, dive, taste the exhilarating sensations. This superb independent house enjoys an ideal location which allows you to benefit from the proximity of shops and the city center to visit its alleys, its museums, its market... You have access on one level to a large extended stay of one pleasant veranda which opens onto an enclosed garden facing south and equipped with garden furniture. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the dining area, a large independent living room extends the stay. Upstairs, 4 attractive and spacious bedrooms have 4 double beds. 160 (including 2 twin 80 beds) and 2 single beds. 2 bedrooms with private bathroom. 2 other shared bathrooms are available. 3 toilets. television, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer... You can also go hiking from your vacation spot and head, a little further, to the Parc des Ecrins, an exceptional natural territory where you can admire the fauna and flora in a protected area. Nestled in the heart of a larch forest, the ski resort and its hamlets invite you to discover the secret riches of unspoilt nature, its ski area, the 20 km of cross-country trails and the snow park. High up in the mountains the resort has 24 ski lifts, 34 pistes for a total of 62 km (3 black, 19 red, 6 blue, 6 green). Ski school. Nursery. Luge track, scooter track. Ski touring and snowshoeing. Hang-gliding. Ice rink.
- ACCESS TO CREVOUX VILLAGE AND RESORTNestled in the heart of Parpaillon massif at an altitude of 1600 m, Crévoux, one of the oldest ski areas in the Hauts-Alpes, has been able to preserve the authenticity of a mountain village. Crévoux is full of character and is designated a 'Village de Montagne'. It offers a return to tradition allied to nature, with leisure activities and in the exploration of a remarkable landscape. The ski resort, from 1600 to 2400 m altitude, has 5 ski lifts, 11 ski pistes, 45 km of cross-country pistes, a luge track, and a snow garden. Snowshoeing, both during the day and at night, is available. Nordic skiing starts from the hamlet of Echalp.
