ACCESS TO CEILLAC SKI AREA
Ceillac is a small charming mountain village situated in the heart of Queyras Regional Park. It has quite varied scenery with large forests, four mountain lakes, and sunny mountain pastures with a view on proud peaks. The exceptional flora and fauna are protected. The small family-oriented ski resort offers many activities: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice diving, ice climbing, etc. The resort, situated at an altitude of 1650-2500 m, has 6 ski lifts and 12 pistes with a total of 21 km. There is also a ski school. The cross-country ski area has 30 km of pistes. Equipment is for hire and there is a snow garden for the children. All necessary services and shopping are available in the village.
The road of sundials
Sundials road runs through the Department of the Hautes-Alpes with more than 400 antique and contemporary dials.
Route des Grandes Alpes
Inaugurated in 1937, the Route of the great Alps is the most beautiful mountain roaming: Thonon-les-Bains at Chin, from Geneva to the Mediterranean, 684 km and 16 passes among the highest in the Alpine french - six of them rising to over 2,000 metres - guide motorists, bikers, cyclists, cycling (and sometimes even... intrepid hikers!).

QUEYRAS NATURAL REGIONAL PARK

Local activities: 650 km² of open land, dotted with numerous villages, among them the most beautiful in the Alps. Trails take the visitors through larch forested trails climbing the mountains, where sheep set off the green pastures and the blue sky.
Places to visit: The Musée du Soum is situated in St Véran, the highest village in Europe. Roux lake is in Abriès, at an altitude of 2785 m. Worth visiting: the 13th century Queyras Fort, fortified in the 17th century by Vauban. In Château-Ville-Vieille the House of Arts and Crafts, showcases of Queyrassin savoir faire.
