Group gîtes

The group gîte is a concept for shared accommodation for both individuals and groups, for either one or more nights. They can accommodate from 15 up to 100 people (unless local dispensation accepts fewer than 15 people).

The group gîte favours longer stays (weeks, weekends). There is either a self-catering kitchen or a Table d’Hôtes service, which is not meant to be situated in a hotel-restaurant.

In his role as a host, the owner or a duly authorized representative contributes to a smooth and friendly organization of the stay and will encourage the exploration of the riches of his region.

A Group Gîte can have a certain classification because of its specific aspects, such as “Stopover”, “Leisure”, “Seminar”, “Party/Event”, “Children” and “catering”.
